On October, 25 – 27 the study tour for the international eco-educational project «NordCompostEd» project partners and target audiences was organized.

Association «North-Centre» and SYKLI Environmental School of Finland held the online-training within the «NordCompostEd» project

On December, 14 – 19, the online training on organic waste was organized for volunteers, eco-activists and teachers within the framework of the international project «NordCompostEd».

«Eco-efficient tourism» project brief description

«Eco-efficient tourism» project is aimed at making Euregio Karelia more attractive for tourists through gradual leveling of the quality of services provided to tourists on the two sides of the border.

The main objectives of the Project are:


Promoting introduction of eco-efficient technologies of recreational area management and improving the quality of services offered in active tourism destinations in Republic of Karelia (Lake Ladoga and Syamozero areas) in co-operation with adjacent Finnish areas.		Making pilot areas more comfortable, safe and environmentally friendly & known for these features.		Improving cross-border tourism transboundary practices and regional development co-operation.
