4th International Conference
“Choosing the Way: Joint Responsibility of the Youth and the Adult. Promoting the Potential of Mentorship”
November 29-30, 2011
Petrozavodsk, Republic of Karelia, Russia
Objective of the Conference: To promote the potential of creative collaboration between the youth and their mentors, and to find new content and new forms of its implementation.
Participants: Young people and their mentors with good experience of interactions in the personal, professional and public life
Form of participation: The Conference participants will be given the chance to present their experience both in person and online, using modern means of communication. Proceeding of the Conference will be produced in the electronic form. If interested, the participants can contribute as co-authors to the journal «Mentors’ Wise Book».
The plenary session, creativity labs, and the planning workshop shall provisionally cover the following thematic areas:
- Mentorship in Love
- Mentorship in the Family
- Mentorship in Education
- Mentorship in Profession
- Mentorship and Public Activities
- Mentorship in the Internet
- Peer Mentorship
Conference Languages: Russian and English.
Terms of Participation:
- All Conference participants cover their own direct costs of travelling to Petrozavodsk and home, meals and accommodation. Costs related to implementation of the Conference programme shall be covered by the organizers.
- Participants are required to register electronically at the AWARD Programme website www.avard.org before November 20, 2011.
