Closing seminar for the «NordCompostEd» project

On the 27th of October the final seminar «NordCompostEd: the experience of the educational project on the organic waste management in the cities of North-West Russia and Europe» was held within XIX Annual Strategic Planning Forum.

The seminar participants were introduced to the idea of the project elaboration, were told about the project activities and results in pilot areas: Helsinki (Finland), Copenhagen (Denmark), Petrozavodsk, Arkhangelsk and Kaliningrad (Russia). An overview of the current situation with the organic waste in Finland and Denmark, Kompostmobil project experience and the outputs of work on the catalogue of technical solutions for organic waste management were presented.

The project Partners thanked each other for their active, fruitful work and expressed intention to continue cooperation.
