«Eco-efficient tourism» project was presented on international conference in Pskov

The director of the «North - Centre» Igor Shevchuk presented «Eco-efficient tourism» project, as well as other «green» projects implemented by the «North - Centre» in the framework of Karelia ENPI CBC Programme, during the 8th international conference «Cross-border cooperation: Russia, the European Union and Norway» that took place in Pskov on September 6-7, 2012.

 

The report «The implementation of eco-efficient tourism concept in Karelia and Finland" was presented during the round table «Tourism development as a top priority of cross-border cooperation». And the presentation «Intersectoral interaction and rational use of natural resources» - during the issue-related session «Green agenda of North-Western Russia: instruments of cross-border and transnational cooperation».
