Eco-efficient tourism project gives recommendations on organization of tourist stops alongside the Blue road.

The publication consists of recommendations for entrepreneurs and local administration on introduction of eco-efficient technologies to tourism development basing on experience of Finnish and Russian experts. The guidelines provide tips on how to organize a stop, build a tent, a toilet or garbage bins and how to ensure their operation and proper use. Moreover, they contain advice on acquiring permits for construction and gathering documents. Project experts share their experience of informing tourists about the stops and nearby tourist attractions.  

The guidelines provide theoretical ground for implementation of projects on development of road infrastructure that will be finished before start of tourist season, namely: organization of a stop in Kolatselga with the long-expected toilet; creating infrastructure on Syamozero lake in Pryazhinsky district and Svetloye lake in Ruskeala, Sortavala district.
